SMS terms and conditions
These terms cover text messages sent from and to the Handy Hippo booking line, (516) 755-3322. Handy Hippo is a registered trade name of Hippo Consulting 999 LLC, a New York limited liability company.
The programme
- Programme name: Handy Hippo booking and job updates.
- Who it is for: customers who contact us about a job, and the crew who work for us.
- What we send customers: replies to your enquiry, agreeing a date and time, confirming the price, arrival windows and updates about your job.
- What we send crew: the job, the address, the time and the pay for jobs we are offering them.
- We never send marketing texts, and we never text anyone who has not contacted us or worked for us.
How you opt in
- By texting (516) 755-3322 yourself. The number is printed on our vehicles, our crew shirts and this website.
- By giving us your mobile number on the quote form at handyhippo.us, or on a call, and asking us to text you.
- Crew give us their mobile number when they join and are told that jobs are offered and confirmed by text.
Frequency, cost and how to stop
- How often: message frequency varies with your job.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier sets those charges, not us.
- To stop: reply STOP at any time. We will send one confirmation and then no further texts. Reply START to start again.

- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular and others.
Your information
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
