Who we are

What we collect
Only what you give us when you call, text, email or use the quote form: your name, phone number, email address, town or address, the details of the job, and any photos you send. When you call our booking line (516) 755-3322, the call may be recorded, and if we cannot pick up, your spoken answers to the booking questions are written down.
How we use it
To reply to you, price the work, schedule it, send the crew, and keep a record of the job. Nothing else.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the crew doing your job, with the companies that run our phone line, email and website for us, and when the law requires it.
Text messages (SMS) from Handy Hippo
- Program: Handy Hippo booking and job updates, sent from (516) 755-3322.
- How you opt in: by texting us first, or by giving us your mobile number on the quote form or on a call and asking us to text you.
- What we send: replies to your enquiry, booking confirmations, arrival times and updates about your job. We do not send marketing texts.
- How often: message frequency varies with your job. Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP at any time and we will not text you again. Reply HELP for help, or call (516) 755-3322.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Keeping and deleting
We keep job records for as long as we need them for the work, tax and insurance. To see or delete what we hold about you, email handyhippo999@gmail.com.
